Report a DalalOS data problem or feature
submit_dalalos_feedback — Report a data problem or request a feature. This is an account-scoped feedback action. It sends a report you approved to the DalalOS team, is free and does not use monthly credits, and does not change market data, place market orders or modify a brokerage portfolio.
What you can ask
Connect DalalOS to Claude or ChatGPT and ask in plain English; the assistant calls submit_dalalos_feedback for you and answers from the figures it returns.
EXAMPLE PROMPTS
- Report to DalalOS that the ROE it gave me for INFY looks different from the annual report.
- Tell DalalOS the dividend figure for ITC looks out of date.
- Send DalalOS a feature request: add quarterly segment revenue.
Parameters and response fields
submit_dalalos_feedback
Report a data problem or request a featureUSE WHEN
Tell the DalalOS team about a figure that looks wrong, a tool error, an unclear description or a feature you want, without leaving your AI assistant.
PARAMETERS

RESPONSE DATA
- report_id and status "received", with a short acknowledgement. Received means the report was saved, not that it has been checked, prioritised or fixed.
NOTES
- Account-scoped write action that sends a report to the DalalOS team. It changes no market data and places no orders.
- Asks first: an assistant should submit only when you ask it to, or after you agree to its offer to report something it noticed.
- Free: it does not use your monthly credits and still works after you reach your plan's limit. A separate per-account limit stops abuse.
- The team uses reports to improve DalalOS and does not reply to individual reports for now.
- A reported discrepancy is stored as your claim, not a confirmed error: units, periods or source timing can explain an apparent difference.
- Do not include passwords, API keys, tokens, contact details, portfolio holdings or whole conversations; the server tries to reject reports that contain a credential but cannot catch every secret.
- reason_code "unauthorized" if unauthenticated; "bad_request" for invalid input; "request_id_conflict" if the request_id was already used for a different report; "rate_limited" over the per-account limit; "save_failed" if the report could not be stored (retry with the same request_id); "feedback_disabled" or "not_configured" when submissions are not available.
- MCP only: there is no REST equivalent.
